The Tent of Enchantment
an immersive and intuitive experience
Frequently Asked Questions
The Tent is a free standing 9'x6' structure designed to look like a wizard's hut filled with enchanted props, furnishings, and lighting. Inside the tent, guests are free to engage with a variety of hands-on divination activities designed to ignite one's intuition and provide guidance in response to any question. The experience is enhanced with audio recorded music and sound effects.
The tent is for visitors ages 14 and up due to the fact that you are empowered to use your intuition while engaging with sophisticated divination activities. Using our intuition requires a good deal of self-awareness.
An immersive experience is one that provides a three dimensional, all-sensory experience for the visitor. The tent is environmental, and inside you will be surrounded by objects, decorations, lighting, and sound that enhance the experience. The best comparison would be any attraction at Disneyworld.
Let's begin by defining 'intuition.' 'Intuition' is the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning. Its the 'gut'-knowing that we all have...an inner wisdom, like our inner GPS system! So, 'intuitive' means being in touch with and using that inner wisdom and intuition. The tent's activities are designed to ignite your intuition for guidance in response to a question and life circumstance.
Bring an open heart and mind, and a question related to a current life issue, concern, or situation on which you would like intuitive guidance. You may bring more than one! Here's an example: How can I navigate my job in a more joyful manner?
Also, bring your cell phone. Your phone's flashlight app may be used for extra lighting, and you are free to take photos (which you are encouraged to share on social media!).
You may also bring a journal for any notes you wish to take during your visit.
Please no food or drink (including water) inside the tent.
No. The experience is designed to empower the visitor to explore independently and use their own intuition. Peyton, however, will be present in the room next door for the duration of your visit. For those wanting additional information on the meaning of the activities' outcomes, the tent's library contains books which provide symbolic interpretation. Visitors may also book a follow up session with Peyton to discuss what they experienced and ways to integrate the guidance into their daily life.
