an immersive and intuitive experience

What is hypnosis?Hypnosis is a relaxed state in which you also have heightened concentration on your inner imagery through which the memories are surfacing (during regression). All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, meaning that you are the only person who can hypnotize yourself. I serve as a guide to help facilitate your trance state (relaxation). Under hypnosis, your state of consciousness moves below your conscious waking state, and you can then connect with your unconscious mind to tap forgotten memories. You easily experience trance states throughout your day while watching TV, reading, daydreaming, and meditating. Hypnosis is a natural state of being and anyone can be hypnotized.

What happens in a session?Peyton will guide you through the following stages of your session: In-take: This is an interview-like conversation that empowers you to share all that you wish to about your situation and goals for your healing session. Induction: The process begins with a relaxation technique to guide you into a hypnotic state. This state is similar to deep relaxation or focused concentration where the mind becomes more receptive to suggestions and introspection. Exploration: Once in this state, this stage engages your imagination and inner senses as you explore and gain clarity around current life questions, issues, or patterns. Healing: Spiritual hypnotherapy often incorporates techniques for healing emotional or psychological wounds. This might involve reframing past experiences, releasing negative beliefs, or connecting with higher aspects of the self or spirit guides. Integration: After the journey, you are guided back to a state of normal consciousness. Peyton may then help integrate the insights and changes gained during the session your daily life.

What is a past life regression (PLR)?“Knowledge about every detail of our past remains deep in our unconscious mind – our memory extends back to the earliest beginnings of life, through our past lives from incarnations as the most primitive humans, up to the present time…Regression therapy is a process of returning to the past...and removing the energy from old feelings and beliefs. Re-living details of the experience leads to expression of the feelings and this in turn contributes to healing.” – Alice. M. Givens, Ph.D. During a PLR you may be deeply relaxed and safely guided to connect with past life memories that relate to a current life question, concern, or issue. You do not have to believe in reincarnation theory for your PLR to be effective. Simply believing that your subconscious stores useful information is enough to have a meaningful experience. You may experience your past life by engaging your imagination and inner senses - mostly seeing, feeling, and hearing and possibly through smelling and tasting as well. The invitation is to release expectations and to ALLOW whatever wishes to emerge from within to do so without judgment or critical analysis. This work is spiritual and therefore mysterious and exciting! The regression experience is unique to each person. It is also possible to feel all kinds of emotions during your regression. You are safe to feel and express everything. If feelings such as sadness, fear, or anger emerge, you can safely feel them and release them to help create positive shifts in your current life. Past life regression is different than a past life psychic reading. During a PLR, the client is actively exploring their own past life memories and sharing what they are experiencing. Your session will entail the following: Your session will begin with a short intake interview so that I may fully understand your goal or concern. Beforehand, please identify one personal topic or issue that you would like to explore through your regression. After the interview, you will be invited to lie down on the healing table, prepared with clean linens, blankets, and a pillow. We then will begin your regression by first getting you nice and relaxed. After the relaxing induction, you will be invited to connect with a past life through the use of your imagination and inner senses. During your regression, you may be aware of both the past AND present - this is normal. I will interview you throughout the experience so that you may share out loud what you are experiencing. Past life regressions last 2-3 hours.

Will I lose control under hypnosis? No. You are in complete control of what happens in your session. Hypnosis cannot detach the ego; Therefore, you always are in control of your experience. Your intentions determine what happens. Again, all hypnosis is self-hypnosis.
-
Will I fall asleep?Falling asleep is possible, but that is not the goal. Hypnosis is a state between awake and asleep in which you are aware of both the present moment and your inner world.

Can everyone experience a past life through regression hypnotherapy?Regression hypnotherapy is best for those who are ready and willing to let go and explore all things. Opening one's mind to the mystery and surrendering fears and expectations are essential to this work. Successful regression requires letting go of control and fear and ALLOWING one's inner wisdom, inner imagery, memories (the easy AND difficult ones), and subconscious knowledge to surface and come through. An active imagination also helps, as it serves as the engine that gets everything going. This is a co-created experience, and I am merely holding space and helping to guide you through your own journey. On the rare occasion, a person might block memories, or they simply may not be able to see or sense anything at the time. When this is the case, I attempt other regression techniques to help produce a helpful experience.

Will I be ready to return to work or other activities immediately after my session?Possibly not. Hypnotic regression is a sustained period of relaxation. Most clients awake feeling a bit groggy but eventually feel more awake and alert within 15-30 minutes after the session. Immediately after your session, I'll help you to fully awaken before you leave. I recommend that you clear your schedule and book your appointment on a day when you have no other appointments or big obligations.

How should I prepare for my session?Plan to arrive with an open heart and mind and a willingness to relax and explore. Identify one topic or issue that you'd like to explore during your regression. Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a special pillow for your neck and head, if desired. You will be lying down on a massage table with clean linens, a pillow, and blanket. Eat lightly beforehand, and do not drink too much beforehand. Avoid consuming caffeine or sugar before your session in order to support your relaxation during the regression.
