Who’s Who in the Cast & Crew
Elizabeth Bean (storyteller) Liz is thrilled to be partnering with Peyton and Elissa once again in beautiful Marblehead for the spookiest season. She is the President at The Footlight Club, the Oldest Continuously Operating Community Theater in America, in Jamaica Plain, MA. She has graced the stage, onstage and behind the scenes, with both Footlight Club, and Divine Stage Works since 2008, and brought two productions to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with Ragnarok Productions in 2018 as a Producer.

Maureen Festa Crary (Costume Designer) is thrilled to be returning to the Lee Mansion with Creative Spirit. Favorite work includes: The Umbrella Stage – Middleton Heights (premier); Hedwig and the Angry Inch; View from The Bridge; To Kill A Mockingbird; Dear Elizabeth; La Cage aux Folles. Theatre on Fire – The Aliens; Party Time; A Behanding in Spokane. The Footlight Club – The Rocky Horror Show; Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party; And Then There Were None; An Ideal Husband. Seven time DASH Best Costumes nominee and one time winner. Maureen is a resident of the North Shore with her loving husband and their three cats.

Jaime Freedman (storyteller) Jaime is excited to work with Peyton again after joining the Soul Play project last spring. Other local productions include: Suburban Holidays New Works Festival, Dancing at Lughnasa, The Taffetas, Dracula and All My Sons. She would like to thank her family, especially Jeremy, for all of their support.

Maggie Hamel (storyteller) is delighted to again work with the Creative Spirit team after previously appearing as Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden and Fan/Belle in A Christmas Carol. Other favorite credits include Betty Parris in The Crucible (The Hanover Repertory Theatre), and Pippa Hailsham-Brown in Spider’s Web and Rebecca Gibbs in Our Town (The Barnstormers Theatre). She soon will appear in Incident at Our Lady of Perpetual Help at The Majestic Theater.

Elissa Jordan (Stage Manager) has stage managed and performed in local theatre productions since 2004 and is excited to engage in her fifth production with this collaborative team. Favorite productions include Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, (Footlight Club), And Then There Were None (Footlight Club), La Cage Aux Folles (Umbrella Stage
Company), To Kill a Mockingbird (Umbrella Stage Company), and A Christmas Carol (Creative Spirit). Elissa is Director of School and Afterschool Partnerships at Boston Children’s Museum and a member of the rock cover band, Box of Records.

Peyton Pugmire (Director) holds a BA degree in theatre performance from the College of Charleston and an MA degree in Theatre Education from Emerson College. He is a proud adjunct professor in the theatre department at Salem State University where he teaches public speaking. Favorite directing credits: La Cage aux Folles, And Then There Were None, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Father of the Bride, and BENT. Favorite acting roles: Prior Walter (Angels in America 1 & 11), Frankie (Forever Plaid), Brick (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Ensemble (Beauty and the Beast, Wheelock Family Theatre), Miss Lynch (Grease), Cliff (Cabaret), and Stuart Lasker (Into the Breeches, The Barnstormers Theater in Tamworth, NH).
