My Art Interview
Interviewer: What do you want to express in your art?
Me: My art unfolds as an expression of things I’m learning about myself, or have learned and
am attempting to make sense of.
Interviewer: What inspires you?
Me: Words inspire me - speaking, reading and writing
Interviewer: Did you enjoy following the prompts or going rogue?
Me: I thrive on structure and knowledge. Each prompt ignited a curiosity in which I’d research a
topic or idea then create from there.
Interviewer: What is your preferred medium and tools for creating?
Me: Drawing, pencils and crayons are my preferred medium and tools.
Interviewer: What are your preferred subjects when creating?
Me: People and nature are my preferred subjects.
Interviewer: How would you describe what you convey with your art?
Me: My art conveys my values, passions, appreciation for nature’s beauty and the on-going
process of self-discovery and self awareness.
Interviewer: What did you enjoy most about the 30 Day Art Challenge?
Me: I love sharing my work and seeing the creativity of others on the discussion board. I’ve also
shared with select family and friends. I enjoyed bringing them into my experience as well.
Interviewer: What artistic expression do you plan to explore next?
Me: I am hoping to write some poetry and possibly be able to publicly share it in an artistic,
community setting.
Interviewer: Any final thoughts you’d like to share?
Me: Just that I intend to continue to artistically express myself and to take advantage of any
opportunities that arise for me to do so!
Interviewer: Well, it has been a pleasure speaking with you. Thank you for your time and I wish
you all the best in your upcoming artistic ventures and experiences.
Me: It has been my pleasure as well. I am grateful for this experience and the chance to share
my thoughts with you.
