Instructor:  Peyton Pugmire

Sunday, June 23, 9:30am – 1:00pm

Fee:  $65

Come be a part of this unique experience in which nature meets art!  Forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku, was developed in Japan during the 1980s and has become a cornerstone of preventive health care and healing in Japanese medicine.  Spending time in the forest has been scientifically proven to

  • Boost immune system

  • Reduce stress

  • Improve mood

  • Increase energy levels

  • Improve sleep

  • And more!

During this re-invigorating half-day workshop, participants will connect with the spirit of nature’s through a mix of activities including

  • A healing walk through a nearby forest

  • Creating a group nature mandala

  • Guided meditation during which you connect with the Spirit of Nature

  • Drawing

  • Journaling

So, join us! Come get some fresh spring air, exercise, and let your creative spirit roam free, inspired by this fun outdoor experience.

Please Note:

There will not be a lunch break during the workshop so participants are encouraged to eat a good breakfast and bring a snack and water bottle.  Participants are also encouraged to bring a backpack or small bag, dress in layers (including hat), and wear appropriate shoes.  Bug spray is also advised.  If necessary, Creative Spirit will be in touch with all enrolled 24 hours in advance if weather forecast is questionable.
