Mission & Team
Creative Spirit is
a center for the art and soul housed two blocks from beautiful Marblehead Harbor in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
Creative Spirit offers
workshops, classes, a community art gallery, spiritual intuitive readings, and events that nurture our whole being – body, mind, heart, and soul. Together, we will boldly explore the topics of creative expression, intuition, mindfulness, and spirituality, all of which inspire us to embody our full potential, live authentically, and create the life we deeply desire.
Peyton Pugmire, Founding Director & Owner
Peyton first connected with his own creative spirit as a child in Georgia when he would paint, color, write, cook, dance, sing…AND mount full blown theatre productions in his family’s basement. Since then, the strength he acquired through his art has fueled his own journey of embracing his full self. Today, Peyton strives to live as authentically, creatively, and spiritually as possible, and he is passionate about inspiring others to do the same. Peyton holds a BA degree in Theatre Performance (College of Charleston) and a MA degree in Theatre Education (Emerson College). He has held leadership positions with The Boston Conservatory at Berklee (Associate Director of Theater) and the Watertown Children’s Theatre (Producing Artistic Director). Peyton has taught across generations, including young children, college students, and adults. Peyton is an accomplished actor, theatre director and trained painter, as well as a spiritual intuitive, Certified Angel Card Reader, and certified Integrated Energy Therapist (IET). He has trained extensively in drama therapy and psychodrama, as well as meditation, and shamanism.
